ThinCCo Device Manager (TDM) is a full featured management tool that can be used to control, maintain and configure your Tisio products. TDM is simple to install and use, flexible to deploy in varying environments and effective in performing the necessary administrative tasks in simple and complex Thin Client installations.
Connectivity & Networking
ThinCCo Device Manager has been designed with corporate, routed networks in mind.
Device Manager uses the latest in HTML technologies and does not rely on protocols such as FTP or UDP to perform any of its tasks.
This high technology approach enables Device Manager to perform in a completely independant and un-hindered manner, bypassing router and firewall restrictions.
This flexibility and performace means that you can place ThinCCo Device Manager into almost anynetwork topology confident that it will operate flawlessly.
Groups and Grouped Configurations
Device Manager uses the concept of groups for organizing your thin clients. This allows a better degree of control and provides a large amount of flexibility.
Groups within Device Manager can hold a universal configuration for all clients within the group. In addinewstion to this, updates and firmware upgrades can be deployed to clients on a group basis.
Backup and Restore
Device Manager also provides you with the ability to back-up and restore its settings, preferences and database thereby providing you with the security of knowing that all client data is safe.
Deployment & Scheduling
When managing thin clients and devices within any organization the most important and sought after feature is the ability to update the configuration and software within devices.
The software deployment module within Device Manager allows administrators to configure updates for both settings and firmware, store them and deploy them to devices within the organization, whether on LAN or WAN at times that are convenient to both users and the company.
Platforms and Database
ThinCCo Device Manager is designed to be installed on any Windows Server or Linux platform and comes ready supplied with Tomcat WebServer as an integral part of its system. Device Manager by default uses MySQL database.
Device Manager can be operated from any PC or similar device that is equipped with a Internet browser that supports Java.
Security
ThinCCo Device Manager employs a user management system that allows you to specify who can access ThinCCo Device Manager.
The user management setting also allows you to set permissions based on a granular level thereby providing not only the security but also the flexibility sought after.
Licensing
ThinCCo Device Manager is an essential component in any ThinCCo ThinClient environment. It not only supports management and updates of ThinClient devices but also allows device registration, licensing, subscription and service handling.
As TDM is such a vital element in Tisio Thin Client installations, we have decided to include a free TMD license with the purchase of every Tisio device, providing you with the peace of knowing that you have complete control of your thin clients.
